Intestinal-, tissue and ecto parasites

This scheme is suitable as an external quality control for morphological diagnostics for intestinal-, tissue- and ectoparasites. This assessment scheme consists of four distributions per year, with each distribution normally consisting of 2 stool samples or tissue (punctate) specimens and a digital image. A brief case description is provided for distributed materials and the participant is asked for morphological assessment (usually by microscopy). We strive to include a theoretical question for each distribution. Each distribution is concluded with an evaluation in which the results of all participants together with the theoretical question are discussed.
