Coagulation
Analytes studied: APTT, Antithrombin, Factor VIII, Fibrinogen, PT, PT-INR.
Six times each year 3 freeze-dried samples are circulated. The results are presented as tables and Youden plots and commented by revealing the nature of the samples and possible effects of the preparation procedure.
Every now and then also case histories are presented and the participants are asked to choose the way of analysis and to give possible conclusions on the basis of the revealed analysis results.
In cooperation with the ECAT foundation also a separate scheme for the D-dimer analysis is offered.
