The scheme Lymphocytes Subsets is provided by UK NEQAS and is completely outside the responsibility of the SKML.

The SKML only facilitates its own participants to subscribe for this scheme.
Only the (re) registration and invoicing of this scheme will be arranged by SKML.
You don?t have to respond to (re) registration emails from these external organizations.

Samples derived from consenting patients are sent. Samples will be screened for HIV I, HIV II, Hep B, Hep C and Syphilis and be documented as being negative. Samples are derived from the UKNeqas (see www.ukneqasli.org) and are stabilized by means of a special procedure for long-term storage. Requested is the analysis of absolute leukocyte and lymphocyte counts, and the percentages and absolute counts of CD3+ T lymphocytes, CD3+4+ T helper/inducer lymphocytes, CD3+8+ T cytotoxic/suppressor lymphocytes, CD16+ and/or 56+ NK lymphocytes, CD19+ B lymphocytes.

Every year (November) a plenary meeting is held in order to discuss the anonymous results at the Hofpoort Hospital in Woerden.
